SPRO Little John Md 50 is a purpose-built tool for working that mid-column sweet spot where bass and walleye set up on edges. Designed by B.A.S.S. Elite Series pro John Crews, it takes the familiar Little John body and pushes it deeper than the original.
With a longer, downward-angled plastic bill, SPRO Little John Md 50 gets down fast and hunts along ledges while helping the bait roll up and over limbs instead of digging in. Fish it on 10 lb. monofilament when you want it to reach its designed depth window; a steady retrieve with a few controlled pauses will let it deflect and reset, keeping it in the strike zone around wood and hard breaks.
When & Where It Shines
- Reaches the depth where predators feed on ledges, thanks to the deeper-running MD design.
- Keeps you fishing instead of freeing snags, thanks to a longer bill that helps flip up and over branches.
- Maintains a clean, consistent track on a steady pull, thanks to the proven Little John body shape.
- Covers edge water efficiently as a mid-depth crankbait, letting you probe breaks without jumping too shallow.
- Delivers confident hookups on reaction bites, thanks to sharp Gamakatsu round-bend trebles on SPRO Little John Md 50.
